August 2010 RMWTUG Meeting

The RMWTUG will be holding a special meeting not on our normal meeting day due to location scheduling issues. This meeting will be Thursday evening, August 26, 2010 at Leaderquest, 6825 South Galena Street Centennial, Colorado. The topics are:

  • Running Windows Azure "App Fabric" Locally to Host in Private Cloud
  • Performance Comparisons for Robocopy with and without Multi-thread Option - Dennis Martin
  • Open Discussions on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 - Dennis Martin

Agenda

  • 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Networking and refreshments
  • 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Running Windows Azure "App Fabric" Locally to Host in Private Cloud
  • 8:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. Break
  • 8:15 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Robocopy presentation and open discussion on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

Update: We will raffle off a $50 gift card to the Microsoft store in the Park Meadows Mall. Notion ONE will provide drinks and food for this meeting.
